An Expat from Day 1
A Career in The Travel Industry
I’ve been lucky enough to have a 15+ year international career, leading organisations in the US, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Most recently, I joined the largest online travel agency in Asia as a Regional Director, managing teams in the Philippines, Indochina, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East, and Africa.
As a result, I know travel from the inside out, not just as an avid globetrotter, but as a travel professional with years of experience. That means I have first-hand access to:

- In-depth knowledge of travel trends shaping the world today

I’ve always been a nerdy guy.
After studying engineering and getting an MBA, most of my career has revolved around analytical roles.

- I created an algo to identify gold-medal winning sports for Malaysia’s Olympic Program
- I used Machine Learning generated pricing data to manage hotel booking volumes
And it’s not just at work – I take my nerdiness home with me.
- I’m obsessed with running player performance data for my fantasy football league
- I built a Monte Carlo sim to predict my commute time though Bangkok traffic
- I collect US cents – I like the idea of turning worthless coins into something meaningful
